So thankful to have a beautiful Local Yarn Store so close to home! I had such a wonderful first visit and have been looking forward to stopping by again as soon as I can. I felt more welcome than I have at many other LYSs and left with a full heart, albeit a lighter wallet due to the wide selection of incredible yarns. Even left with a great recommendation for a new yarn shop overseas when we take our first international trip later this year!! 💕

OMG! I went today for the first time with my sister and a friend and had so much fun. When we got there we were greeted by the shop’s dog Leo. So cute and so friendly. We had such a blast looking at all the different yarns. The owner was amazing and great to talk to. We all walked out with yarn for future projects and knowing we’ll be back again! So if you have time go and take a look. You’re bound to find something and you can’t beat the friendliness and warmth of the shop

I am loving this Yarn shop. There are really beautiful yarns and it is a nice bright space. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. There are knit nights, classes coming, and you can knit during store hours. The entrance is around the back of the building off of Iron Horse Blvd and there is plenty of Parking.

Find the perfect yarn for your next project, then sit and knit with us for awhile. We can't wait to see what you're working on!

Hi, it's nice to meet you

We're Simsbury Yarns. Meet Leo, our mascot. He'd love some belly rubs the next time you stop by.

At Simsbury Yarns, everyone is welcome to shop, chat, or sit and knit with us. Actually, we're the ONLY store in Connecticut where you can sit and knit for free (and even get tips from our pro knitters!)
